ABOUT US

Welcome to Congregation Beth Jacob. We are a small conservative congregation in Fresno, California, established in the early 1920s and located in the heart of the Central San Joaquin Valley. We recently sold our original building due to the declining neighborhood and are currently sharing space with Temple Beth Israel, Fresno's Reformed synagogue. Though small, we are diverse, serving both Ashkenazi and Sephardic members. We hold Friday night services on Zoom (you must be on our email list to receive the weekly invitations) and hold Saturday Shabbat services in the TBI library on the first two Saturdays of each month.
